The signs it's due
- Water over the front edge in heavy rain.
- Grass, moss or a small plant visible from the ground.
- A downpipe that's dry in the rain.

Do gutter guards mean no cleaning?
Less often, not never. Guards collect leaves on top and need clearing.
What happens if I never clean them?
They overflow, then the fascia rots and the brackets pull out. The repair costs far more than the cleans.
